Purple Land Management (PLM) is seeking an experienced Mineral Buyer Landman to support a potential Permian Basin acquisition campaign. This role requires proficiency in mineral ownership analysis and negotiation. Candidates must be located near Midland, TX, and possess local Permian experience.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of mineral buying experience and a strong understanding of ownership structures. Responsibilities include negotiating with mineral owners, conducting title reviews, and maintaining updates in project databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mineral buying experience.
• Strong understanding of NRA calculations and mineral ownership structures.
• Success in negotiating mineral acquisitions in the Permian Basin.

Responsibilities

• Identify, contact, and negotiate with mineral owners in the Permian Basin.
• Analyze and interpret complex mineral ownership structures.
• Negotiate mineral purchase agreements on behalf of the client.
• Conduct title review to verify mineral interests.
• Maintain updates in PLM databases.
• Report progress to Project Managers and clients.
• Prepare acquisition documentation and supporting materials.
