Job summary

Glenn-Rieder, LL is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from contract through completion in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will plan, budget, manage, and document all project aspects while coordinating with executives, customers, and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage scope, schedule, and finances to achieve targets. Travel to meet project needs may be required.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience in the construction field is preferred.
• Previous experience in the millwork industry is preferred.
• Ability to lead a team in a collaborative manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in problem solving/analysis.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, organize, and implement alternate solutions to challenges.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
• Internet savvy with competence in Microsoft Office applications. Strong MS Excel proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to travel to meet the needs of the project.

Responsibilities

• Create the project plan and manage to meet stakeholders’ needs and financial targets.
• Manage project scope and timing with customer, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Oversee project financials to meet or exceed targets.
• Coordinate change orders and contract execution with customers/subcontractors.
• Mitigate risks with customer and subcontractors for the project.
• Provide leadership: motivate, resolve conflicts, problem solve, communicate.
• Attend jobsite meetings with customer and subcontractors as required.
