Job summary

Merritt Woodwork is seeking a Millwork Project Principal to lead complex, high-end architectural millwork projects from hand-off through completion. This remote role collaborates with engineering, production, clients, architects, and general contractors to deliver projects to Merritt’s exacting standards.

You will manage schedules and budgets, read and interpret drawings, resolve field measurement issues, and oversee documentation.

Qualifications

10+ years of millwork industry experience.
Project management and estimating experience.
Ability to read and interpret architectural millwork drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Ability to identify and resolve field measurement issues.
Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, high-end architectural millwork projects from inception through punch-out.
Develop project strategy with Engineering, manage schedules and budgets.
Coordinate engineering and production, and work directly with Clients, Architects, and General Contractors to ensure projects are delivered accurately and to Merritt’s standards.
