Job summary

LECO Corporation located in St. Joseph, Michigan, seeks a Field Service Engineer for the Midwest region. The role is remote with travel, performing maintenance, repairs, installations, and trainings at customer sites throughout the Midwest (OH, IN, KY) and nearby regions.

Qualifications

• Requires two year technical degree or trade school; equivalent work experience acceptable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for field-based work.
• Willingness to travel up to four overnights per week and work remotely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive/general maintenance and breakdown repair on analytical and metallographic instrumentation.
• Install new instrumentation and upgrade kits; conduct trainings on theory and operation.
• Maintain inventory records, expense reports, and vehicle logs; ensure safety and compliance.
