ACCEL Schools is seeking teachers for its Virtual Preparatory Academy of Missouri at Atlanta to deliver core-content instruction online, with occasional in-person testing and events across Missouri.

You will create engaging live lessons, set up courses in the LMS, monitor progress, communicate with families, and collaborate with school leadership to meet state accountability goals. Travel for state testing occurs several times per year.

Competenze

• Current state teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preference for two years’ teaching experience.
• Ability to manage confidential information and communicate effectively.
• Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes and supervise students.

Mansioni

• Serve as teacher of record for core content areas and grades.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference and provide feedback daily.
• Set up courses in the LMS and monitor progress in asynchronous courses.
• Collaborate with Principal on progress reports and instructional adjustments.
• Travel for state testing and student events up to several times per year.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
