Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• PA Teacher Certification in 7-12 Biology or Chemistry.
• Fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
• Two years urban teaching experience with high ELD/SPED populations.
• Ability to commute to building and complete background checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure academic progress of all students.
• Implement a coherent, research-based science curriculum.
• Document lesson plans, assignments, rubrics, and materials.
• Engage students with both virtual and in-person instruction.
• Collaborate with families and colleagues to support learning.
• Maintain a positive school culture with high behavioral standards.
• Develop and deliver synchronous and asynchronous lessons.
