Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Middle AQA Engineer to join a remote-first fintech QA team. You will blend manual testing with automated approaches, building scalable testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines across UI, API, and end-to-end testing.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, product teams, and QA specialists in a CET-friendly schedule. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA, hands-on Playwright experience, and strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional QA experience including manual and automated testing.
• 3+ years UI and API test automation using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of manual testing principles, test levels, and test design techniques.
• Experience with Playwright for automated testing across UI, API, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment within CET hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive manual testing across platforms and devices.
• Design, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Develop and support API, end-to-end, and UI automated tests.
• Create and maintain CI/CD testing pipelines while promoting shift-left testing practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test strategies and quality criteria.
• Identify, document, track, and validate bug fixes with development teams.
• Conduct performance testing and provide recommendations to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures and results.
• Stay updated on QA methodologies and tools to continuously enhance testing practices.
