Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Middle Automation QA Engineer based in Spain to ensure reliability and quality of fintech solutions. You will design automated testing frameworks, perform manual validation, and collaborate across engineering and product teams in a remote-first culture.

You will work with Playwright and TypeScript to automate UI, API, and end-to-end tests, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and help define test strategies with a focus on shift-left practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional QA experience including manual and automated testing.
• 3+ years of UI and API test automation using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of manual testing, test design, and SDLC/Agile practices.
• Experience with Playwright for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and shift-left testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive manual testing across platforms and devices.
• Design, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks with Playwright and TS.
• Develop API, end-to-end, and UI automated tests aligned with requirements.
• Create and maintain CI/CD test pipelines and promote shift-left testing.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on test strategies and quality criteria.
• Identify, document, and track bugs; verify fixes with developers.
• Conduct performance testing and provide reliability recommendations.
• Maintain testing documentation and stay updated on QA best practices.
