Liberty Company Insurance Brokers LLC seeks an Account Executive to service and grow middle-market commercial insurance for a remote CST-position in the Houston area. You will manage submissions, renewals, and client relationships with carriers, aiming to optimize coverage and minimize E&O risk.

The role emphasizes independent oversight, collaboration with carriers, and proactive client communication in a fast-paced, wellness-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience handling mid-to-large commercial lines accounts.
• Education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent is required, college degree preferred.
• Active DOI P&C License required.
• Knowledge of AMS360 OR Epic system or similar agency management system.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance and products.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for middle market commercial lines accounts.
• Prepare submissions for Company accounts, including new/renewal business and presentations.
• Oversee quality control and compliance duties to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
• Prepare change requests for Company and Company accounts.
• Review audits, policies and endorsements for accuracy.
• Initiate new account files in agency management system.
• Invoice Company accounts (agency bill transactions).
• Assist Company and carriers with collections.
• Assist Company with carrier audits and audit disputes.
• Prepare and implement marketing strategies for expirations (within 120 days).
• Manage account cancellations and ensure continuation of coverage.
• Manage carrier memos and process updates.
• Manage Company account requests for ID cards, certificates, binders, etc.
• Evaluate exposure and risk to determine markets for quotes.
• Obtain quotes and negotiate coverage terms.
• Delegate assignments to administrative staff.
• Maintain documentation in AMS360 or Epic.
• Keep team informed of important activities.
