Job summary

Mental Health Association - Western MA is seeking a MID Intake Evaluator to perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments in a community behavioral health and addiction setting. The role includes completing screenings, court-related letters, and enrollment documentation for MID program referrals in our outpatient clinic.

The position is full-time and remote, with bilingual English/Spanish candidates preferred and additional compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health and addiction field is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a Massachusetts standardized biopsychosocial comprehensive assessment, as well as addendums, during the first meeting.
• Complete required evidence-based screening tools, such as nicotine assessment, TB screening, and health risk assessment.
• Complete court evaluation letters during assessments for probation officers or referral sources.
• Complete required administrative documentation, including authorizations, consents, agreements, acknowledgements and enrollment forms.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner, meeting regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Billing Department regarding payment options.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes.
• Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems and promote partnerships and funding sources.
• Pursue activities to enhance professional growth; attend conferences and statewide meetings.
• Promote and integrate agency mission, values, and principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Clinic Director or Assistant Clinic Director.
