Varsity Tutors’ Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online Microsoft Office tutors nationwide. As a tutor, you set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and influence students' academic success — all from the comfort of your home.

You can earn incrementally higher pay per session with the same student, up to $40/hour, and be paid up to twice per week for tutoring and invoicing. Tutor remotely using our platform; we handle payments.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, with basic familiarity of Access, Teams and OneNote.
• Skilled at guiding students through document creation, data management, and presentation development using Office apps.
• Familiar with training curricula and common Office challenges; adapts instruction with practice projects and templates.
• Ability to identify concepts students struggle with and explain material using multiple approaches.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for Microsoft Office topics.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests as available.
