Job summary

Chevo is seeking a Microsoft Products SME to serve as a trusted advisor to federal stakeholders. This role provides technical leadership, tenant management expertise, and operational support to improve collaboration, security, governance, and adoption of Microsoft technologies supporting interagency wildland fire operations.

The position is primarily remote with occasional travel within the Washington, DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum five years of Microsoft platform SME experience.
• Experience with M365 tenant administration, collaboration services, and governance.
• Experience administering Microsoft environments, tools, and security controls.
• PowerShell scripting experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft environment settings and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with federal client and partner organizations to improve federal operations and Microsoft environment utilization.
• Advise leadership on Microsoft platform governance, licensing optimization, security, and user adoption.
• Support Microsoft tenant administration, B2B collaboration, external user access, and platform enhancements.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, SOPs, governance documentation, and operational guidance.
• Manage security controls, compliance reviews, reporting, distribution lists, and group administration.
• Interpret federal IT policies, directives, and mandates and assess impacts to federal operations.
• Support Microsoft issue resolution, ticket management, and operational reporting.
