Qualifications

• MS in Meteorology, atmospheric science, or related field (or BS with 5+ years of experience).
• Subject matter expertise in operational weather forecasting and numerical weather prediction (NWP).
• Experience with forecast verification and model validation.
• Strong diagnostic and debugging skills for forecast errors.
• Some experience coding in Python and SQL.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with machine-learning based forecasting techniques.
• Experience working in a technology company collaborating with software engineering and product teams.
• Experience in client-facing or consulting roles with enterprise customers or sales teams.
• Experience using AI coding tools.
