Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Functional Business Analyst for Pratt & Whitney Digital MES. You will design, develop, and implement MES solutions, bridge business processes with MES capabilities, and collaborate across DevOps and enterprise integrations to support global operations.

The role supports SAP ERP integrations, participates in Agile projects, and travels up to 10% domestically/internationally. U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required (due to Government contractual requirements).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or related degree with 8+ years of experience OR an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with MES disciplines including process planning and work order execution is preferred.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Bridge gaps between business processes and MES functionality and capabilities.
• Translate customer requirements into a solution design.
• Author functional specifications and assist with system design decisions.
• Troubleshoot business processes against system capabilities.
• Engage with DevOps solution management and manage tasks with strong follow-up.
• Support process mapping and solution design; work in an Agile environment.
• Coordinate system testing and end-user support for MES solutions.
• Collaborate with internal customers and external partners to architect and build MES solutions.
