Job summary

A growing MEP consulting firm is seeking an experienced MEP Electrical design engineer to lead design efforts and project management for various projects, including government and healthcare buildings. Responsibilities include producing electrical system designs, conducting engineering studies, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will have an accredited electrical engineering degree, 3-10 years of experience, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Qualifications

• Minimum 3-10 years experience within the MEP consulting industry.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and develop detailed electrical designs.

Responsibilities

• Produce complete electrical systems design drawings in accordance with the code.
• Engineering evaluations and studies.
• Design QC review.
• Mentoring/training of junior engineering staff.
• Collaborate in solving complex engineering problems.

Skills

Proficiency in Revit

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Strong knowledge of NEC

Excellent communication skills

Collaboration skills

Education

Accredited electrical engineering degree

EIT or (PE) Professional Engineering license preferred
