LaBella Associates seeks an experienced MEP Plan Reviewer to perform technical reviews of construction documents for compliance with NYS codes, energy codes, and local amendments. The role emphasizes independent work, collaboration with design professionals, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams across projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive MEP experience, familiarity with elevator systems, and strong communication skills to respond to municipal officials and designers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience reviewing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of NY State energy and building codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive MEP plan reviews for commercial, institutional, multifamily, and mixed-use projects.
• Review mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy code compliance.
• Review revisions and follow-up review comments for accuracy and clarity.
