LaBella Associates is seeking a skilled MEP Plan Reviewer in New York to conduct comprehensive plan reviews for commercial and multi-family projects. You will interpret NY codes, energy codes, and local amendments, coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote-capable team environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy code requirements.
• CEO certification (New York).
• Experience reviewing or designing building systems for commercial projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for comments and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive MEP plan reviews for commercial, institutional, multifamily, and mixed use projects.
• Review mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy code compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews with structural, architectural, fire protection, and accessibility reviewers.
• Prepare clear, concise, and technically accurate review comments.
• Respond to technical questions from municipal officials, design professionals, and contractors.
