Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, counseling, education, communications, human resources, or related field required.
• Associate’s degree with 3 years related experience or high school diploma with 6 years related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and digital proficiency with Google Suite, Word, Excel, and Zoom.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within designated region of Iowa.
• Student experience will be considered.

Aufgaben

• Conducts outreach activities to raise awareness about the Migratory Education Program (MEP) in the designated region in Iowa.
• Attends community events and meetings to engage with potential migratory families.
• Interviews potentially eligible migratory children and families to determine eligibility.
• Communicates regularly with migratory liaisons to ensure timely identification of migratory children.
• Collaborates with school personnel to transition migratory children into their new educational settings.
• Maintains accurate records of outreach efforts and eligibility determinations.
• Participates in the ongoing work of the national MEP consortia.
