Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist for a full-time, salaried W-2 position. The candidate must hold an active license in Massachusetts and be open to obtaining licensure in Connecticut, with full reimbursement provided. The role involves delivering high-quality clinical care via telehealth, supporting patients with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, among others.

Responsibilities

1. Provide consistent, high-quality clinical care aligned with Rivia Mind's values.
2. Conduct intake evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans.
3. Administer psychotherapy using modalities like CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing.
4. Support diverse patient populations in a telehealth setting.
5. Maintain an average of 31 patients per week.
6. Coach patients on managing health conditions and behavior change.
7. Provide crisis intervention and emotional/behavioral assessment and treatment.
8. Ensure thorough documentation of sessions.
9. Foster a collaborative, fun, and supportive work environment.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field.
• Active LCSW or LMHC license in Massachusetts; additional Connecticut licensure preferred.
• At least 1 year of psychotherapy practice experience.
• Experience or interest in working with couples is a plus.
• Proficient in documentation and use of EHR software.
• Skills in crisis management, DSM diagnosis, treatment planning, and behavioral therapy.
• Strong teamwork, technical aptitude, and communication skills.

Work Schedule & Location

Flexible scheduling within our hours (M-F 8 am–8 pm, Sat 9 am–5 pm). At least four hours per week should be after 5 pm or on weekends. The position is remote, with eligibility restricted to residents of specified states, including Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Compensation

Salary range: $65,000–$74,000, with potential bonuses. Exact salary depends on experience and qualifications.
