Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Remote Assessment Specialist Licensed Professional to support emergency and inpatient mental health care via telehealth. You will perform LOC assessments and provide treatment recommendations in collaboration with physicians and hospital teams.

The role requires a Master’s in Mental Healthcare, valid licensure, and experience in behavioral health. Expect coordination across PLC locations, rapid response, and meticulous documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental healthcare.
• 2 years’ behavioral/mental health clinical experience preferred.
• Must hold and maintain licensure as a mental health professional within state of residence.
• Familiarity with Telehealth platforms and tele-video platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide level of care assessments and risk/ safety planning recommendations.
• Coordinate with physicians, hospital staff, and patient collaterals for evaluation.
• Respond to assessment requests within 60 minutes of initial contact.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Document detailed risk assessments and safety plans in the EHR.
• Collaborate with PLC staff and other partners across the HCA enterprise.
