Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a Virtual Patient Logistics Center Assessment Specialist to support emergency and inpatient behavioral health assessments from a remote hub. You will coordinate with physicians, hospital staff, and PLC partners to evaluate risk and plan safety strategies.

The role requires a Master’s in mental health, licensure, and experience in behavioral health settings, with strong telehealth capabilities and multi-system navigation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental healthcare required.
• Prefer 2 years of experience in behavioral/mental healthcare performing clinical duties, including assessment.
• Prior management/supervisory experience in healthcare preferred.
• Must hold and maintain licensure as a mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LP, etc).
• Masters Degree must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide level of care assessments and safety planning recommendations.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses and PLC staff to ensure proper evaluation.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA/EMTALA compliance at all times.
• Respond to assessment requests within 60 minutes; act within remote telehealth platform.
• Engage in ongoing clinical learning and meet licensing board requirements.
