Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a Mendix Developer to join the Development team. The role is remote within the EU, collaborating closely with a major client’s IT team on site as needed. You will translate user stories into Mendix apps, build integrations, and contribute to a shared component library.

Requirements include a university IT degree, 5 years of IT development with at least 3 years Mendix hands-on, Mendix 10+, Java/JavaScript knowledge, and Scrum experience. Certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT and 5 years of IT development experience, including at least 3 years hands-on with Mendix.
• Proven delivery of at least two Mendix applications into production, including integration with enterprise systems.
• Experience with Mendix 10 or later, on-premises or private cloud deployment.
• Working knowledge of Java and JavaScript for custom actions and widgets.
• Experience working in Scrum or similar agile frameworks.
• Mendix Advanced Developer certification would be required; Mendix Expert certification will be considered as an asset.
• Experience with Mendix AI capabilities (e.g. GenAI connectors, Maia) will be considered as an asset.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Translate user stories and business requirements into working Mendix applications (domain models, flows, pages, security roles).
• Build integrations with internal and external systems via APIs and database connectors, and implement SAML/OIDC SSO.
• Develop reusable Mendix modules, widgets and components; contribute to a shared component library.
• Apply secure-by-design practices, RBAC and data protection requirements.
• Build accessible interfaces that meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Write unit and automated tests, participate in code reviews, manage technical debt with Mendix QA tools.
• Support deployment, release management and third-level maintenance of applications in production.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
