Job summary

HFCU is a remote teller role focusing on handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and selling money orders and gift cards. You will maintain cash drawers, balance daily, and support teller activities while training new staff to ensure friendly, professional service.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong numerical accuracy, communication, and computer skills in a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• One year to two years of similar or related experience.
• A high school diploma or GED required.
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements to this job.
• Must be computer literate with excellent communication skills.
• Must be accurate with numbers and names.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments. Act as vault teller as needed.
• Sells money orders, gift cards, and processes cash advances for members and guest members.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily.
• Helps schedule and monitor daily teller activity.
• Help train new employees and monitor performance. Ensure department is providing friendly, professional, personal service to all members.
