Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking an Outreach Retention Specialist to conduct outbound renewal calls for PHSP, Medicare, and Integrated Product membership. The role focuses on educating members over the phone, assisting with renewal applications, and scheduling field visits when needed.

100% remote with flexible scheduling is available. The position requires prior HMO/Managed Care experience, NYSOH knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce/OnContact, MHS, ePaces, and BizTalk.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (minimum).
• Experience in HMO / Managed Care or NYSOH.
• Proficiency with MS Office and common office tasks.
• Experience with Salesforce/OnContact, MHS, ePaces and BizTalk.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to existing members for renewal assistance and schedule field appointments.
• Educate members on plan features, benefits, and renewal options.
• Adhere to HIPAA requirements and protect PHI; follow company compliance guidelines.
• Assist CACs with NYSOH dashboards and enrollment-related tasks.
• Support Medicaid, Medicare, and Integrated Product members to retain or obtain coverage.
• Participate in trainings, audits, and ongoing testing as required.
• Build relationships with internal teams and external partners to support retention.
• Attend weekly/biweekly/monthly meetings and raise issues to management as needed.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
