Job summary

Calibrate is seeking a Member Care Coordinator to bridge Clinical Operations, Coaching, and Member Experience, ensuring timely, coordinated care and smooth handoffs. This full-time, hourly role offers three ET shifts ($20–$22/hour) with remote-first flexibility across states; you will handle medication access workflows, PA submissions, and member communications.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal medical assisting program is highly valued.
• National CMA or RMA certification is preferred.
• 2+ years of healthcare customer service or patient advocacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute clinical administrative workflows to resolve readiness barriers and accelerate access.
• Prepare clinical documents and triage member needs for specialty support.
• Facilitate handoffs between Clinical and Coaching teams for timely follow-ups.
• Collaborate in cross-functional meetings to maintain high-quality member care.
• Identify and report recurring systemic issues contributing to operational friction.
• Own end-to-end medication access workflow, including PA submissions and overrides.
• Contact members by phone or secure message to gather information and explain PA changes.
• Call insurers, PBMs, and pharmacies to obtain case statuses and approvals.
• Log all communications and PA statuses in Zendesk/MJD for auditable records.
• Resolve pharmacy-level rejections and address insurance coding issues.
• Troubleshoot technical/administrative insurance issues preventing claims.
