Job summary

Wellington Management seeks an Equity Research Associate to join the Global Industry Research Healthcare Team, focusing on MedTech, tools and diagnostics in the US. The role supports senior analysts, analyzes financial, clinical, regulatory and reimbursement data, and uses AI to drive research efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong investment and analytical background, an eagerness to deepen healthcare knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant investment experience.
• Experience in healthcare or MedTech equity research preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills for medical devices, diagnostics, and tools.
• Understanding of FDA/regulatory pathways and reimbursement dynamics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industry and comparative valuation models across MedTech, diagnostics, and life science tools.
• Build and maintain company financial models with product-level forecasting and adoption curves.
• Assess regulatory pathways, reimbursement dynamics, and market adoption risks.
• Analyze clinical data, regulatory developments, and industry datasets to evaluate fundamentals.
• Execute complex analytical projects leveraging AI and alternative data within tight timelines.
• Stay current with product launches, guidelines, and conference proceedings.
