Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a fully remote role supporting our Medicare Pharmacy Appeals team. You will help ensure Part D appeals are processed accurately and efficiently, enabling members to access needed medications.

Responsibilities include gathering clinical information, performing case reviews, and maintaining records across multiple systems. A fast-paced environment, problem-solving, and independence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Active State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration.
• At least 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Office experience including Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Contact providers, pharmacies, and healthcare offices to gather clinical information needed for Medicare Part D appeal reviews.
• Support prior authorization and appeals processes through pharmacy technician-level case review and documentation.
• Accurately maintain and update case information across multiple systems.
• Manage a high-volume workload while meeting established turnaround times and SLAs.
• Consistently achieve quality, productivity, and performance goals.

Skills

Active Pharmacy Technician Cert

2+ years Pharmacy Tech experience
