Job summary

SCAN Health Plan in California seeks a Health Insurance Sales Representative local to Placer and Yolo Counties. You will identify plan options for prospects and members, generate enrollments, build a book of business, and promote member retention in a field/remote role.

The role requires CA health license and CMS certifications, 1–3 years in healthcare sales, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. We offer base pay 70–75k with commissions, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with match, and tuition

Qualifications

• CA health license and CMS annual certifications required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience; healthcare sales/marketing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and generate opportunities for sales presentations, group meetings and events within the service area.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with providers and community leaders.
• Generate and develop sales leads and enter leads into the company CRM.
• Promote member retention by resolving inquiries and proactive communication with members.
• Meet leadership to review performance metrics and enhance sales strategies.
• Adhere to production goals and CMS/state guidelines.
