Job summary

SCAN Health Plan is seeking a Health Insurance Sales Representative to help members identify health plan options and drive enrollments in Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties. This full-time role involves field and remote work within the local service area.

You will build relationships with providers, enter leads into the CRM, meet performance goals, and stay compliant with CMS and other policies. A CA health license and CMS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Local to Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties.
• Valid health license in CA and CMS annual certifications required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Sales and marketing experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and generate opportunities for sales presentations, group meetings, community events and other senior activities.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with providers and community leaders.
• Generate and develop sales leads and create a book of business.
• Enter leads into company CRM.
• Develop sales resources and create a network of opportunities and contacts.
• Promote member retention by resolving inquiries and proactively communicating with current members.
• Meet with leadership to review performance metrics, determine sales strategies, and enhance sales techniques and processes.
• Follow all CMS, MIPPA and compliance guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal and SCAN benefits.
