Job summary

Suncrest Hospice seeks an experienced Medicare Biller to ensure timely and accurate submission of hospice claims and NOEs. You will follow CMS requirements, manage AR, and work with MACs to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes knowledge of DDE systems, Palmetto/NGS, PECOS, and adherence to hospice billing rules while supporting an expanding national service.

Qualifications

• Submit Notices of Election and transfer notices timely and accurately.
• Send clean claims monthly using EMR or billing software.
• Submit claims/NOEs using DDE entry as needed.
• Monitor unpaid claims and pursue appeals when necessary.
• Audit patient files for billing accuracy and compliance.
• Familiar with PECOS and MAC processes for changes.

Responsibilities

• Submit Notices of Election, Transfers, and other admin notices.
• Process claims and NOEs promptly using preferred systems.
• Follow up on denials and track resolutions with payers.
• Audit billing accuracy and report uncollectible balances.
• Collaborate with MACs and EDIs to resolve issues.
