Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced HCC Risk Adjustment Coder for a fully remote, high-volume Medicare project. This 5-month contract offers a flexible schedule and full-time hours, with an average of about 2 chart reviews per hour and a focus on accurate documentation of chronic conditions.

Applicants should have 2+ years in risk adjustment coding, strong ICD-10 knowledge, and an active CPC (AAPC) or CCS (AHIMA) certification to qualify.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Risk Adjustment Coding experience.
• Strong ICD-10 coding knowledge.
• Active CPC (AAPC) or CCS (AHIMA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Review and code medical records for Medicare populations.
• Apply ICD-10 diagnosis coding and HCC risk adjustment guidelines.
• Identify and document chronic conditions accurately.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Complete approximately 2 charts per hour.
