Job summary

ApotheCom, part of Inizio Medical, is seeking a Medical Writer to develop and deliver innovative medical communications. You will review data from preclinical and clinical studies to create scientifically accurate materials aligned with briefs.

You will interact with leading pharmaceutical clients and scientists, stay current with medical developments, and conduct literature searches to ensure precise information. This role supports remote or hybrid work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacology or medicine.
• Previous medical writing experience within a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work to and within deadlines and to juggle multiple projects.
• Strong financial, administrative and organization skills, including ability to multi-task.
• Keen attention to detail, ability to prioritize responsibilities and work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
• Advanced computer skills, knowledge of Internet searches and Microsoft Windows software including Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret data from preclinical and clinical research to create scientific materials aligned with client briefs.
• Interact with leading pharmaceutical clients and scientists on therapeutic issues.
• Conduct literature searches to ensure accurate medical information for projects.
• Participate in client meetings and attend scientific meetings as required.
• Synthesize clinical trial data for physician and consumer audiences per client requirements.
