Real Chemistry is seeking a Medical Writer to join our growing team. The role involves compiling, writing, and editing medical writing deliverables based on deep product knowledge and therapeutic area awareness.

This position can be remote within the United States or based in any of our U.S. office locations, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Lambertville, NJ, San Francisco, or Carmel, IN.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree preferred (Ph.D., MD, PharmD).
• 3+ years of experience in Medical Communications agency setting preferred.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment to develop and execute scientific communications and promotional initiatives for clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Expert writing and editorial skills with medical terminology expertise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver a quick turnaround on a variety of tasks.
• Strong self-motivation and enthusiasm with demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications and online research platforms.

Responsibilities

• Compile, write, and edit medical writing deliverables based on product knowledge and therapeutic area.
• Interact with internal teams and clients to meet strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with Associate Medical Director in managing multiple accounts from a scientific perspective.
• Participate in strategic planning and project meetings with internal and client teams.
• Self-educate on industry innovation and conceptualize programs for teams.
• Develop depth of understanding for assigned products and medical areas.
• Identify and communicate updates and regulatory milestones to the team and suggest new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Editorial team to resolve grammatical or stylistic issues.
• Adopt a proactive solutions-oriented approach to assignments.
