Job summary

AMN Healthcare Language Services is seeking a Video Audio Remote Interpreter to cover a wide range of shifts for LEP communities and the practitioners who serve them in medical, legal and community interpreting settings via video. The role requires fluent bilingual skills, completion of a medical language proficiency assessment, and adherence to privacy laws and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent in source and target languages with strong verbal skills.
• Successful completion of a medical language proficiency assessment.
• Respect for LEP clients, culture, dialect and privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video remote interpreting service for consumers; occasional audio calls.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined by AMN Language Services.
• Maintain professional behavior, regular attendance, punctuality and accurate record keeping.
• Demonstrate adaptability to new technologies.
• Complete training and pass readiness checks before live calls.
• Participate in quality assurance and call monitoring programs.
