This remote, part-time role requires 20 hours per week in Central Time and focuses on prior authorizations, patient communication, and front-office support. The candidate should have hands-on prior authorization experience, strong English communication skills, and familiarity with healthcare software.

Qualifications

• Hands-on prior authorization experience essential, involving processing, tracking, and follow-ups.
• Strong inbound/outbound call handling; patient inquiries and pharmacy coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with experience navigating healthcare software and multiple systems.
• Reliable, proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Must be available to work the required 20-hour weekly schedule in Central Time.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on prior authorization requests; coordinate with insurers and pharmacies.
• Handle patient, pharmacy, and insurer calls; provide professional, compassionate service.
• Support medical administrative tasks and EHR workflows, including scheduling, emails, referrals, and faxes.
