Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a Field Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to provide on-demand scientific exchange and medical information for rare kidney diseases. The role supports KOLs, APPs, and regional/national congresses while aligning with medical affairs strategy.

The candidate should have 2+ years of MSL experience, an advanced scientific degree, and strong communication skills to convey complex data to diverse audiences. This is a field-based, remote role with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 2+ years of MSL experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience in nephrology or rare diseases preferred.
• Experience working with KOLs, medical congresses, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Scientific exchange with clinicians and APPs; respond to inquiries and provide balanced information.
• Deliver medical presentations to physicians, pharmacists and nurses; summarize complex data clearly.
• Provide short-term or ongoing territory coverage and maintain relationships within the territory.
• Deliver compliant medical education (1:1 or small groups) on priority topics (disease state, MOA, safety/REMS).
• Support regional and national congresses with scientific presence and coordination.
• Document HCP insights and trends; log in CRM within 48 hours; share with Medical Strategy.
• Contribute to planning and execution of medical projects advancing goals.
