Job summary

Novartis AG is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to operate in a field-based, remote capacity, supporting key accounts across an assigned geography in the United States. The MSL will advance clinical practice through scientific engagement with HCPs, manage territory and execute activities aligned with the medical strategy.

The role requires deep therapeutic expertise, adherence to compliance policies, and regular travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in science or healthcare required; doctoral degree preferred (MD, PhD, DNP, PharmD, etc.)
• Strong clinical knowledge including pharmacotherapy, treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, medical expert engagement strategies, and FDA promotional guidelines, regulations, and ethical guidelines are required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with healthcare providers and key thought leaders to advance medical strategy.
• Provide clinical trial support and collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas and Novartis products for use as a medical resource.
