Job summary

Responsibilities include submitting medical review documents, ensuring HIPAA/PHI compliance, coordinating with vendors, and interpreting exam results under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must possess National or State Paramedic license.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience, two in an administrative capacity.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government SECRET Clearance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and timely submission of all medical review documents to appropriate parties.
• Maintains medical records confidentiality per HIPAA and PHI best practices.
• Liaises with vendors to facilitate medical review process and teamwork.
• Interprets medical examination results under supervision and contractual guidelines.
• Applies contract guidelines and interprets exam nuances.
• Ensures compliance with contract guidelines and addendums.
• Oversees daily activities of Medical Support Specialists to maintain workflow.
