Qualifications

• 3 years of prior health care and/or health insurance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio.
• Must complete access requirements and requested forms for records retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Collect medical records within tight timeframes and document activity in systems.
• Contact provider offices to request records and coordinate retrieval methods.
• Prepare hard copy records for conversion to electronic images.
• Communicate with team and providers to meet deadlines.
• Travel to provider offices, facilities, or Highmark campuses to obtain records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
