Job summary

Porterhouse Medical Group is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead our US-based Porterhouse Medical team. The VP, Medical Director will guide scientific writing and content strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver publications, medical education content and congress materials.

The role is US-based remote (EST) with some travel to meetings; ideal candidate has 7+ years in medical communications and a track record in publications and medical affairs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD/MD/PharmD or equivalent) required.
• Proven track record in medical communications, publications and medical affairs deliverables.
• Strong leadership, client-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a medical/scientific writing team to develop high-quality outputs.
• Provide strategic scientific direction on publications, congress presentations and medical education.
• Ensure adherence to GPP 2022 and ICMJE guidelines across projects.
