Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Experience with surgical and robotics-assisted medical devices.
• License in good standing in the resident state.
• Registration before the USPTO.
• Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in mechanical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute medical device patent applications in the U.S. and internationally.
• Conduct freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses.
• Perform due diligence and handle patent procurement services.
• Manage patent portfolios effectively.
