Humana Inc. is seeking a Medical Coding Coordinator to extract information from medical records and assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for adjudicated claims. You will analyze and update databases and respond to internal requests, using independent judgment to prioritize tasks.

This is a remote position from anywhere in the US with typical hours and occasional training travel. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of coding experience and CPC certification, plus familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid

Qualificações

• Requires AAPC CPC certification (no Apprentice).
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Certified Medical Coder.
• Ability to solve complex coding issues and prioritize tasks.
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid coding guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsabilidades

• Extract clinical information from medical records and assign ICD-10-CM/CPT codes.
