You will review records, identify coding discrepancies, and collaborate with clinicians and compliance teams to improve accuracy and reimbursement.

Candidates should hold coding certifications and have experience in medical billing or revenue cycle, with strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT guidelines, and a commitment to HIPAA and regulatory

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle
• Coding certification from a nationally recognized organization such as AAPC or AHIMA required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of medical coding and documentation for professional coding services.
• Review patient records, clinical documentation, and coded data to identify discrepancies and coding issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, coders, and compliance teams to ensure proper coding.
• Support appropriate reimbursement and mitigate compliance risks through audits.
• Conduct chart reviews to assess coding accuracy and documentation quality.
