ThedaCare seeks a Clinic Coding II to review and assign CPT/ICD-10-CM codes for primary and specialty services, ensuring accurate, compliant documentation. You will audit medical records, educate providers, and collaborate with clinical teams to improve coding quality and reimbursement.

Based in Neenah, Wisconsin, this full-time, remote-friendly role offers 40 hours weekly, daytime hours, and opportunities for professional growth within ThedaCare's coding organization.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in general medical or specialty coding.
• Coding certificate or associate's degree in medical business or coding/health information.
• Coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CPC-A or CCS or CCS-P).
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Reviews and assigns CPT and ICD-10-CM codes for primary care and/or specialty clinic services with a high degree of accuracy.
• Performs documentation reviews and shares results with providers and auditing team.
• Collaborates with providers and clinical staff for complete and accurate coding.
• Manages coding inventory related to payer denials and claim edits to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Maintains operational coding functions to ensure charge capture of all billable services.
• Delivers world class service to customers, responding timely and professionally to inquiries.
