Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking experienced Medical Coders to contribute to a project focused on improving next-generation AI systems. You will review and annotate medical records, apply ICD-10 and CPT coding, and evaluate coding accuracy to support high-quality AI datasets.

In this contractor, remote role, you will provide expert feedback to refine coding guidelines, edge cases, and documentation scenarios while collaborating with project teams to ensure data quality and compliance with current standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical coding using ICD-10 and CPT coding systems.
• CPC certification or active CPC credential is preferred.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and knowledge of E&M guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate medical records to assign ICD-10 and CPT codes accurately.
• Apply E&M guidelines to assess coding levels and validate datasets.
• Ensure compliance with current medical coding standards and guidelines.
• Analyze clinical documentation to identify coding ambiguities or inconsistencies.
• Provide expert feedback on coding guidelines, edge cases, and documentation scenarios.
• Collaborate with project teams through written and verbal communication to improve AI training data quality.
