Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC system preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience as a Medical Biller or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms (GoToMeeting, Zoom).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Physician billing data and medical claims to insurance companies in accordance with federal, state, and payer mandated guidelines.
• Maintain productivity standards while ensuring quality.
• Ensure proper hospital claim submission and payment through review and correction of claim edits, errors, and denials.
• Investigate, follow up with payers, and work claims as assigned.
• Perform posting billing adjustments.
• Ensure billing reroutes are worked timely and in line with procedures.
• Conduct duties professionally and timely.
• Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided.
• Be punctual, dependable, and adaptable to change.
• Complete payor specific rules and regulations training.
