Qualifications

• 1+ years of medical billing, charge entry, or accounts receivable in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding and modifiers.
• Experience with claims status review and A/R follow-up.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and billing software.

Responsibilities

• Review and process charge sessions in Epic to ensure accurate billing.
• Resolve charge review, claim edits, and follow-up queues.
• Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Retrieve documentation to support charge capture and claim resolution.
• Maintain compliance with payer and organizational billing guidelines.
