Qualifications

• Understanding of billing and coding procedures and medical terminology.
• Ability to meet turnaround times and state law requirements in Medical Bill Repricing.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive reports with little guidance.
• Remote work capability with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of billing and Medicare reporting while verifying ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes.
• Research, respond, and track inquiries to ensure compliance with state laws.
• Handle EDI claim rejections and apply manual repricing as needed.
• Process reconsiderations and appeals with vendors and provider networks.
• Research provider reimbursement inquiries and process requests.
• Participate in PPO Network and vendor oversight calls/meetings.
• Cross train on all provider network tasks within the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
