Job summary

Tenet Physician Resources seeks an experienced Billing Specialist to support Revenue Cycle Management for multiple clinician practices. You will coordinate charge entry, claims processing, and reporting to ensure timely and accurate billing across specialties.

The role requires a minimum of five years in a large medical practice or billing company, with a high school diploma or GED and preferred billing/coding training. Remote work is available with occasional in-person meetings in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years minimum experience in a large medical practice or billing company.
• High school diploma or GED required; billing/coding program preferred.
• Experience with charge entry, claims processing, and billing reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinicians' charges are entered and billed daily in the Practice Management System.
• Serve as liaison between the RCM vendor and operations teams within assigned practices.
• Run and monitor daily charge reports; ensure charges balance and units are correct.
• Escalate errors to vendor or practice within KPI timelines.
• Review claims not yet billed; escalate to leadership for unresolved items.
• Prepare reports comparing actual charges to budgets and notify leadership of variances.
