Cape Cod Healthcare is seeking a skilled medical billing professional to prepare and submit claims, review documentation, and resolve payer errors from a fully remote setting. You will ensure accurate CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-CM coding, maintain patient accounts, and verify coverage to support timely reimbursement.

Ideal candidates have HIPAA knowledge and experience with EDI claims; Epic experience is a plus. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers a remote schedule with no weekends or holidays and

Formación

• Experience in professional medical billing and claims submission.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-CM coding standards.
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and security rules.
• Experience with EDI claim submissions is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare healthcare claims and submit EDI claims.
• Review billing documentation for accuracy.
• Resolve claim errors and payer denials.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Maintain patient accounts and monitor aging.
• Review payer requirements and support reimbursement.
